Wild Nights and Holiday Lights

This annual family event returns for the 14th year with thousands of bright lights, sparkling ornaments and trees, lighted animal figures, and displays transforming the zoo sanctuary with holiday spirit. Local caroling groups and musicians provide the merry sounds of the season, and the Folsom Valley Railway miniature train provides special nighttime rides.

Wild Nights and Holiday Lights is open from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with last entry at 8 p.m., December 6-8, 12-15, and 18-22 (weather permitting; heavy rains or winds will cancel). All proceeds from the event benefit the zoo sanctuary animals.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Admission and train tickets are only available for purchase online on Eventhub Ticketing.
Event admission is free for ages under 2 years. Everyone 2 and over will require a ticket.
This event is date-specific and has timed-entry; please visit the event at the time window listed on your ticket.
Wild Nights & Holiday Lights is a great time to see nocturnal animals like kinkajous and raccoons. While some animals have early bedtimes, animals who enjoy the evening hours will receive special holiday enrichment from animal keepers during the event.
Special treats and beverages are available for purchase from Fisher’s Beastro and from visiting food trucks.
The best place to park will be the lots located directly behind City Hall located at 50 Natoma Street.
Santa will not be at the event this year, but you may spot Santa Paws during the event.

Tickets are purchased for a specific night and are limited to the first 2,580 people per night.
There is a timed entry window for admission tickets. There is no timed entry for the train.
Folsom Zoo Sanctuary Friends memberships do not apply to this special fundraising event.

All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled due to extreme weather.
